Where do you deliver, and how much does it cost?
Calgary: Standard delivery is $9.99 for orders under $119, and free with orders over $120.
Alberta: Standard delivery fee is $15 for orders under $149, and free with orders over $150. We can not deliver to PO box addresses. Please click here to see locations we deliver to in Alberta.
When do you deliver?
What if I'm not home during the delivery?
We can still deliver your meals if you are not going to be home during the delivery hours, but you can let us know by emailing contact@nutrimeals.ca. Depending on the courier, we can ask them to leave the package in a less visible area. Nutrimeals is not responsible for unattended food or spoilage of any kind when meals are left outside or at a community post office. Nutrimeals can not guarantee specific requested delivery times.
What happens if I don't receive my delivery when I was expecting it?
Check your tracking information and call or email us right away. Although the meals are packed in an insulated and temperature controlled box, we must be aware of the situation so that it can be resolved ASAP with no food spoilage.
Can I get free shipping if I use another coupon?
No. You cannot use multiple coupons in one transaction.
What if I need to cancel my order?
All of our meals are made to order and we require 2 business days notice if your order needs to be cancelled. If you need to cancel your order please email contact@nutrimeals.ca immediately and we will do our best to accommodate you. If your meals are already made we wont be able to offer a full refund. If payment for your subscription has gone through and you need to cancel your order please call us or email. Nutrition plans made by the dietician are non-refundable.
How can I view my previous orders (order history)?
Click the person icon in the top right corner of the page. When re-directed to the log-in screen, log-in using the same credentials that were used when placing your order. Once you have successfully logged in, your order history will be displayed. (One-click re-order button coming soon).
Do you accommodate modifications to meals?
Due to the way we produce meals, we will only accommodate modifications, or omit ingredients in meals when it is allergy specific. Please be aware that our meals are not produced in an allergen free facility. We use a blend of canola oil and olive oil in our sauces and dishes. We can not made accommodations to any oil allergies. Please email us before you place an order to make sure we can accommodate your allergy.
Are the meals fresh or frozen?
How big is each meal?
Each meal has around 5oz of cooked protein, 1/2 cup of carbohydrates and a full cup of vegetables. Some meals will come with a sauce, otherwise you can always add your own favourite sauce!
Where do I find nutrition and meal info?
Each meal has a sticker with the customers name, the meal name and a full table of nutrition facts. If you misplace the sticker, you can find the nutritional information and ingredient list on the second photo of each product. Please note we do not add salt to our meals so that you can adjust to your own preference. Please season your meals as you feel is needed.
Do you provide custom meals?
The "Build your own" is our version of a custom meal. These meals allow you to choose your size of protein and sides. Rice is measured in quarter cup increments and all vegetables are measured as 1 cup. Are the containers microwave safe?
Yes, our containers are BPA free, reusable, and microwave and dishwasher safe. They are not oven safe, if you wish to reheat your meals in the oven, please use an oven safe dish.
How long should I heat my meal in the microwave?
We recommend that you remove the lid, place it on top of the meal to cover any splatters, and put the container in the microwave for 2-4 minutes.
How often does the menu change?
We change our menu every 2 weeks so that you are never bored of eating the same thing over and over again! We do our best to offer a variety of different proteins and cuisines to accommodate all taste buds!
How does it work?
1. Choose your preferred meal box to subscribe to and the amount of meals
2. Select how frequently you would like the box to be delivered, we offer subscription delivery every 1,2,3 or 4 weeks.
3. Create an account and select your ingredient preferences
When will my subscription be delivered?
Why was I charged for my meals before my delivery date?
All of our orders must be paid for before we deliver the meals. If we don't receive payment for the subscription, we wont send out the meals.
How are my meals picked?
I need to make a change to my subscription
Once you place your order, you MUST set up a Nutrimeals account and fill out the preferences form. Click here to watch a short video tutorial on how to create an account and update your preferences. Once your preferences are updated, our team selects the meals that we currently have available on our menu that follows your preferences. If your preferences are limited we will provide repeats of meals or Build Your Own meals that meet your criteria. If you do not update your preferences our team will select a random assortment of meals. We can not offer any refunds on subscription boxes if you do not select your food preferences.
If you would like to choose your own meals for the subscription box, please send us an email with your food choices 3 business days in advance.
I need to make a change to my subscription
Please email us if you need to make any changes to your subscription. Our system does not notify us if you have changed your frequency of deliveries, or moved delivery dates. Once your payment has gone through we are unable to make changes to that specific order. Any changes will occur on your next delivery.
Please email us! For the time being, we ask that you please email us if you need to skip or cancel a delivery - especially if your payment has gone through! Thank you for your understanding.
Why can I not complete my transaction?
Are you using Internet Explorer? If you are using internet explorer, you will not be able to complete the check out process. Please use an alternative web browser such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Safari.
To transfer your cart to another browser, just copy and past the URL to the new browser and you will be able to pick up where you left off.
Are you using a different browser? Please contact us and we will work with our payment partner to help you complete the transaction
How do I earn nutripoints?
What can I spend my nutripoints on?
You can treat them like cash and buy meals, or donate the dollar value to one of our three partnered charities (coming soon)
Can I use nutripoints with my subscription?
Since subscriptions already have a great discount, we do not allow nutripoints to be applied to subscriptions.
