Where do I start when it comes to meal prep?
One of the questions we get asked all the time at Nutrimeals is this: how many meals should I order?
If you are new to meal prep, welcome. Thanks for taking the time to read about what we have to offer. Being new to meal prep can be overwhelming. But know that we are here to steer you in the right direction with helpful information.
There are two things to keep in mind when you are starting out with a meal prep service.

Tip #1: Start small
Great! You made it to the website, and you are ready to order your meals. But how many? Which ones? Will you eat them all? Take a step back and realize where your weak spot is when it comes to eating throughout the week. Then, order your meals accordingly. Start small. Order breakfasts, lunches or dinners for the week and see how you like it. This tip will help make meal prep a habit that sticks.
Although it might be tempting to try everything on our menu all at once, our advice is to do the exact opposite! Instead, try ordering 5 lunches for the week and see how that goes. Our guess is that you’ll really enjoy the convenience of having pre-made lunches in your fridge. Once you’re comfortable with that you can expand to incorporating snacks or other items. The problem we see customers run into is that they are new at using a meal prep service, order enough meals to feed a small village, and have it gone to waste because they are not used to the concept. We want to make sure that you enjoy all the food you order from us!
Tip 2: Keep your goals in mind
Behind every action is a motive. What is your motive for ordering from Nutrimeals? Is it to save money/ be less wasteful? Avoid the grocery store? Do you hate to cook? Are you trying to gain or lose weight? If you know what your goal is, then you can order your meals accordingly to suit your needs.
