  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sake or rice wine
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
  • Your choice of noodles or rice
  • Select your choice of vegetables: broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers, carrots, bean sprouts

Preparation

Step 1

To start your easy meal prep recipe, in a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, sake or rice wine, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.

In a container, place the chicken thighs on one side of the container, leaving room for the other ingredients. Next to the chicken thighs, scoop your desired amount of rice or noodles and place next to the chicken thighs. In the remaining space in the container, or on top of the rice, add your vegetables. Garnish the chicken with green onions and sesame seeds.
